Report to Electronic Commerce Manager. Responsible for Electronic Data Interchange system implementation and process development. Includes mapping 837,834, 810, 270/271u transactions, communication scripting and process development in integrating with health care claims processing systems on a Unix platform.

Reported to Electronic Commerce Supervisor and responsible for monitoring EDI activity, which included recruiting trading partners, tracking trends and developing action plans. Also responsible for facilitating communication between: health care providers, software venders, and clearinghouses. Additionally performed marketing / training both internally and in the field on Memphis healthcare EDI capabilities and Internet based applications designed to create greater efficiency in the claims payment process.
